Gray Days

I am whiny today because I have discovered my one gray hair. I plucked it out but isn't this supposed to happen later in life? Geez! I called my brother and he laughed, told me it's a non-issue, and that if I pluck them more will come.

Did any of you ever get any angst over gray? Would you rock gray locs like my fave author Toni Morrison one day?

If I wake up one morning, and all of my hair is gray, then I would rock it, but if it is a gradually thing...nope.

It appears to be a gradual thing. I think that's kinda how it works LOL.

I have a milestone birthday this year and all this anxiety around it. And now a gray hair.

I dunno. I guess it's just like life. I have to take it as it comes.

I know how you feel. I really think your brother is right. My father grayed in his 20's and was completely white-haired in his thirties. So I am on the LOOK OUT! I must say that Toni Morrison's hair is gorgeous and regal. It's just that the process of getting there is such a journey. Once your hair is silver then you made it through and to that stage & phase in your life ...BUT seeing those little silver hairs stand out against an opposite background can be a bit much!!! I totally get where you're coming from. Yet it's a blessing of honor one day!

Totally agree Lady Butterfly. I am learning to get over myself. It's a process. LOL

I'm TRYING to not touch up my grey. It's been 5 months but its starting to work my nerves!! I don't think I'll be able to go gracefully. Especially in my 30's sigh

@Foxy Diva What do you touch it up with? I bet you have so few gray hairs that no one notices
