My Latest Sisterlocks Updo

I twisted my hair in 5 large twists angled around my head. I clipped the back with a Basic Hair Clip. I secured the back with hair pins. I finished with Jane Carter Leave-In Conditioner to pat down the fuzzy bits et Voila!

Very cute. Just proves that sisterlocks are as versatile as the wearer makes them to be.

I loooove this style. I have consider dredlocks and I heard about sisterlocks and I heard it cost like 450 to get them started. but the more I look at styles like this the more I want them

Ayoko- Thank you! Sisterlocks can be pricey at first but I think they are worth it in the long term. You can learn to maintain your own hair after you get them.

Also, there are other options for small locks. You can use the latch hook method (interlocked with a latchhook), braidslocs( started with microbraiods), or nappylocs (started with the nappylocs tool). All the information about these methods are available online. All of these are less expensive than Sisterlocks.
