Sisterlocks Curly,Braided Bob

I took the Bantus out and got a sort of asymmetrical curly Sisterlocks bob. I have never been a fan of more than 2 hairstyles in one, but here I think the SLs, bob, curl and asymmetry go well together. Here my hair is still braided in sections; but the Bantus acted as rollers, giving it added curl.

It didn't take long to undo the Bantu knots, but taking down the braided Sisterlocks will probably be a long ordeal.

I love playing with Sisterlock styles. What shall I do next? loc loops? a punky shaved look? crimps? an updo? The possibilities are endless!

Pretty! How many locks did you use per Bantu Knot? I may try this one...

Thanks! Hey Meikmeika, I hope all is well.

Since I wasn't consistent with the braiding of the bantus as far as numbers of locks, I did like 1 inch by 1 inch sections. I braided it and wrapped it around itself. In these photos, my hair is still braided. Braiding them together allows you to make them more compact. But they were a pain to take out!

So sophisticated! Love it!

Looks nice. Unbraiding can be a bit of a chore. One of these days I may get into styling again.

I love the results! It is so cute. I wish I had the time and patience to do my hair because I actually miss it. When it ever my schedule slows down this is one style I will defintely have to try, take care.

I love the new blog page, it looks like a big jeaned booty.
Is it your ass with jeans on it? LOL
How long did it take to unbraid your hair afterwards?

Naturally Sophia said...

@ Sez LOL! Thanks for the compliment.

It took me about 3-4 hours to unbraid it afterwards. Funny thing is: I had a retightening and my SL consultant still found a braid. Ha!

I'm loving this look. I've tried bantu knots but not braided first just 2 stranded. I do like the curls i get with bantu. Never tried loc loops but i do have soft spikes and they give a lovely curl. Like you said the possibilities are endless

Oh, I like that. It gives you that messy but chic look that I could never get my hair to do in the relaxer days.
